CGC University Mohali Hosts Grand ‘Rising Punjab Summit’

Mohali, February 13, 2026: With the objective of accelerating Punjab’s development and fostering collaboration across various sectors, Dubai International Business successfully organized the ‘Rising Punjab Summit’ at CGC University, Mohali. Eminent personalities from the fields of education, agriculture, sports, politics, religion, and healthcare participated in the conference.
The Chief Guest, Gurmeet Singh Khudian (Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development, Punjab), while addressing the gathering, emphasized strengthening the rural economy and highlighted allied sectors such as animal husbandry as key pillars of Punjab’s growth. Former Member of Parliament and renowned singer Hans Raj Hans also shared his views and underlined the role of art and music in fostering social awareness.
The summit witnessed the participation of distinguished personalities including Bhai Harpal Singh (Head Granthi, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib), Giani Harpreet Singh, Kartar Singh, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Dr Raman Deep Kaur, Randeep Singh, Gill Raunta and Jarnail Singh. The speakers discussed collective responsibility and the importance of innovative ideas in strengthening Punjab’s socio-economic framework.
Organized by Dubai International Business and coordinated by Amandeep Singh, Manjinder Singh, and Navneet Singh, the summit aimed to provide a common platform for policymakers and experts to exchange ideas.
Founder Chancellor of CGC University, Mohali, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, who has been honored with the international “Father of Education” award, stated that education forms the foundation of a progressive society. Such platforms connect students with leaders from diverse sectors and instill a sense of responsibility towards Punjab’s development. Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal added that Punjab has immense potential in every field. Through the ‘Rising Punjab Summit,’ the university aims to initiate meaningful dialogue that delivers constructive outcomes for youth and society.
