CGC Jhanjeri students dominate PTU’s Merit Lists

Mohali: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri   students  exhibited their academic excellence by capturing a total of 190 positions in the Merit Lists of Nov 2018 and April 2019 examinations of IKG PTU, Jalandhar.   As many as 14 students of CGC Jhanjeri have captured 1st positions in various exams of the university and 176 others have secured second to tenth positions, which is a record in itself.PTU Toppers included Ramanpreet Kaur  B.Sc FT, Shubham  B.Sc FT , Yog Pratap  B.Tech ME , Aqsa Ilyas  B.Tech Civil , Shivam B.Sc Agri, Tripti Singh B.Sc FT , Vishali Sharma  B.Sc FT , Harsimran Kaur B.Sc FT , Farkhanda B.Sc Agri, Lovleen kaur B.Sc Agri  , Neha Sharma B.Sc Agri , Prabhjot Kaur  B.Sc Agri , Riya Rana  B.Sc Agri and Sandeep Kaur B.Sc Agri.  

Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President said that CGC Jhanjeri is known for Academic Excellence and Quality Placements. Dr. G.D Bansal , Director General recalled that in the previous two Merit lists of Nov 2017 and April 2018 exams, the number of Merit list positions captured by students of CGC Jhanjeri campus was 124 and 122 respectively. He gave entire credit for this enviable success to the hard work done by the students and the teachers.
