Bathinda, April 18, 2024: The Gene Society of the Department of Human Genetics and Molecular Medicine at Central University of Punjab organized a stimulating one-day seminar on Advanced Clinical Therapeutics, featuring esteemed guest speakers Dr. Sanjiv Dhingra and Dr. Ashok Kumar. A total of 140 participants, including Masters and PhD scholars from various university departments, actively engaged in the event.

Dr. Sanjiv Dhingra, a distinguished faculty member from the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology at the Max Rady College of Medicine and Director of the Canada Italy Tissue Engineering Program at the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, St. Boniface Hospital Research Centre, Canada, delivered an enlightening lecture on "Stem Cell Therapy and Tissue Regeneration in Cardiac Health." Dr. Dhingra's expertise illuminated the latest advancements and future challenges in cardiac health, emphasizing the promising role of stem cell therapy in tissue regeneration.

In addition, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Assistant Professor at the Centre for Systems Biology and Bioinformatics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, discussed the pivotal role of bioinformatics in genomic research and personalized medical interventions.
