Jalandhar, April 14, 2026: With profound grief, C.B.S.E Affiliated Schools Association informs of the sad demise of its esteemed President, Anil Chopra, who passed away this morning.
The last rites were performed today at Model Town Cremation Ground, Jalandhar.
Tributes were paid by Patrons Swami Shanta Nand, Surjeet Singh Cheema, Charanjit Singh Channi, Krishan Kumar Vasal, Vice Presidents Dr. Narotam Singh and Sanjeev Vasal, General Secretary cum Treasurer Dr. Anup Bowry, Joint Secretaries Sanjiv Murria and Rajesh Mayor, Executive Members Dr. Sarv Mohan Tandon, Lalit Mittal, M.S. Gill, Loveninder Verma, Rajan Maini, along with Principals of affiliated schools. On behalf of CASA, a ceremonial shawl was offered as a mark of honour and gratitude for his selfless service to the education fraternity. “We pray to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family”, said the association.
