An emergent meeting of the C.B.S.E. Affiliated Schools Association (CASA), Jalandhar Division, was convened today to mourn the untimely and deeply saddening demise of its visionary President, Late Anil Chopra, who also served as the Chairman of the prestigious St. Soldier Group and PPR Group.
Jalandhar, April 23, 2026: An emergent meeting of the C.B.S.E. Affiliated Schools Association (CASA), Jalandhar Division, was convened today to mourn the untimely and deeply saddening demise of its visionary President, Late Anil Chopra, who also served as the Chairman of the prestigious St. Soldier Group and PPR Group.
The meeting, attended by the executive body and prominent educationists from across the Doaba region, began with a two-minute silence to honor the departed soul. Members expressed that his passing on April 14, 2026, has created an "irreparable void" not only within CASA but across the entire educational landscape of North India. The association passed a formal resolution acknowledging Sh. Anil Chopra’s decades of service. Under his leadership, CASA became a unified voice for private schools, championing the cause of quality education and administrative excellence. Speakers highlighted his role as a mentor and a philanthropist who transformed the St. Soldier Group into an educational powerhouse, providing opportunities to thousands of students.
