Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey has soon become one of India’s most loved shows because of its positive, light-hearted and relatable storyline catering to three different generations. The show focuses on spreading happiness and being helpful to everyone around us. Taking the spirit of festivities ahead and expressing their gratitude towards the phenomenal and doting crew of Wagle Ki Duniya, the entire cast planned a surprise for the team. They made a generous contribution and gathered a lump sum amount which they spent towards gifting home essentials and appliances as a big thank you to the crew members for their relentless contribution and dedication towards the show. This gesture certainly took the warm and positive spirit of the festive season forward.  
 
Sumeet Raghavan, essaying the role of Rajesh Wagle said, “Diwali is one of the few times of the year when everyone comes together and celebrates while forgetting about work and other stresses. The Diwali party was the perfect occasion for everyone to connect without having to worry about getting the perfect shot and the dialogues right. Our crew works around the clock and are always on their toes doing everything to make the show what it is. We wanted to do something special for them for a while now and the Diwali party came in at the perfect time so we all decided to give them gifts to express how grateful and thankful we are to them for everything they’ve done for us. The past one and a half year has been very stressful for everyone, our crew is like our second family so doing something special for them this Diwali meant a lot to us. I hope we made them happy.”
 
Pariva Pranati, essaying the role of Vandana Wagle said, “A huge part and an important aspect of Diwali is celebrating togetherness, giving back to the people we love and showing our gratitude. I feel so grateful that Wagle Ki Duniya is doing so well, everyone is showering so much love on us, it is truly heart-warming. People often forget about our behind-the-scenes heroes, our wonderful crew members. So, we decided to do something special for them to show how thankful we are for all the hard work they put in and that it doesn’t go unnoticed. Our hope was to bring a smile and change into somebody’s life this Diwali”
