Cabinet Minister, MLAs, MC Chief hit the streets with broom; continue mega cleanliness drive across city
Reaffirming the commitment of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann to make 'Rangla Punjab', Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi, Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal continued the mega cleanliness drive across the city on Monday.

Ludhiana, April 28, 2025: Reaffirming the commitment of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann to make 'Rangla Punjab', Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi, Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal continued the mega cleanliness drive across the city on Monday.
Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian along with MC Commissioner Dachalwal led the cleanliness drive in ward number 24. Similarly, MLA Chhina led the drive from Sherpur chowk, MLA Prashar led the drive on Amarpura road near civil hospital, while MLA Sidhu led the ongoing drive from Partap chowk.
MC Joint Commissioner Ankur Mahindroo, Joint Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, Zonal Commissioners Neeraj Jain and Gurpal Singh among other civic body officials also participated in the cleanliness drive.
Cabinet minister Mundian said that all the wards/major roads of the city would be covered under the ongoing mega cleanliness drive and they have been monitoring the same on a regular basis. The sewer lines are also being cleaned, wherever required and authorities have been directed to conduct fogging drives too on a regular basis, so that the residents should not face any trouble due to vector borne diseases.
Cabinet Minister Mundian, MLA Chhina, MLA Sidhu, MLA Prashar and MC Commissioner Dachalwal appealed to the residents to support the authorities in keeping the city clean and green.
Cabinet Minister Mundian and MC Commissioner Dachalwal said that in case of any problem, the residents can approach the civic body officials. Further they can also submit online complaints with the civic body through mseva.
Residents can not only submit online complaints by visiting mseva.lgpunjab.gov.in, but they can also submit the online complaints through whatsapp mSeva chatbot. The residents can simply give a missed call or send a Whatsapp message to 87509-75975 to reach the chatbot and follow the instructions to submit the complaint.
Cabinet minister Mundian and city MLAs stated that the mega cleanliness drive will continue in the coming days and every step is being taken to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
