Chandigarh, February 28, 2015: Punjab Unit of the BJP has showered all praise on Union Finance Minister Mr.Arun Jaitely who presented first full-fledged budget of the BJP led NDA Union Government.
In a press statement issued from party office here, state BJP chief Mr.Kamal Sharma while terming the budget growth oriented and aiming long time achievements said that the document reflects vision of the party which believes in the slogan of ‘Sabka Satha Sabka Vikas’.  There is something special for each and every section of the society be it the poorest of poor, senior citizens or a ultra rich man.
Sharma said that announcement of AIIMS for Punjab is the biggest gift the NDA government has given for our state as setting up of this high standard institute would go a long way in the health sector of the state.
He also thanked the Finance Minister for declaring Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar as national monument which would be developed by the Centre by giving the state a special package.  
Sharma also welcomed announcement by the Finance Minister to implement the GST taxation system across the country from next year. “This decision is going to be benefiting the industries across the country and would prove a historical step in the development of business in India,” said Sharma.
The BJP chief added that the provision of strict new laws to strictly check the practice of keeping black money is the biggest achievement by the Union Finance Minister and shows commitment of the BJP over the black money issue.  The Punjab BJP has congratulated Mr.Jaitely for daring to do so. The state unit has also welcomed increase of 5000 crores in the budget allocation for MNREGA by terming the move as a step to benefit the poorer labourers in the villages.
