Blood Donation Camp Organized at CGC University 
The Governor of Punjab Gulab Chand Kataria along with other dignitaries, encourages blood donors at the camp organized by CGC University, Mohali.

Mohali, September 5, 2025: CGC University, Mohali, in collaboration with the Great Nav Bharat Mission Foundation, organized a large-scale blood donation camp on its campus. 
The event was made special by the gracious presence of the Governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, whose inspiring words encouraged everyone to view blood donation not just as a duty but as a profound responsibility towards humanity. His presence set the tone for the event, reinforcing the importance of selflessness. 
Speaking on the occasion, Governor shared his views, stating that acts of humanity are what bind society together. Among these, blood donation stands out as one of the most significant acts, where a single unit of donated blood can give someone a new lease on life. 
Also present at the event was Karan Gilhotra, Limca Book Record Holder for being the Youngest Sarpanch, Co-Chairman of the PHD Chamber (Punjab), and Founder of Plaksha University, Mohali. As a young leader and social contributor, his journey resonated with the purpose of the camp, reminding everyone that leadership is not just about achievement but also about service to others. Rajan Chopra from the PHD Chamber also attended the event and praised the organizers for their efforts.

From CGC University, Executive Director Sushil Parashar welcomed everyone and thanked all the blood donors for their participation. The camp was conducted with meticulous planning and medical supervision, ensuring safety and comfort for all donors. From registration to post-donation care, every step reflected the professionalism and dedication of the organizing teams. A total of 618 units of blood were collected during the drive. Necessary refreshments and diet arrangements were also made for the donors. The day concluded with heartfelt gratitude extended to every donor, dignitary, and volunteer.
