Bhandara organised on auspicious occasion of Sawan Shivratri

Panchkula, July 16, 2023:  Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation,   a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO)   organised a Bhandara (Community Kitchen) on the auspicious occasion of the Sawan month also known as Shravan month at Industrial Area Phase-1, Panchkula here. 

Working class people and needy families from the surrounding areas came  in large numbers,   for food at the bhandara.

Amitabh Rungta, Founder of Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation, said,"On the auspicious occasion of Sawan month we have organised the bhandara for people. As per hindu religious belief, consumption of onion-garlic is not considered appropriate on these auspicious days, so we distributed only pure Satvik food under the Bhandara."

Volunteers Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, Suresh Jangra paid their special contribution at Bhandara.
