BHAI Mardana Yadgiri Kirtan Darbar Society honours DC Ferozepur

Ferozepur, July 20, 2013: Bhai Mardana Yadgiri Kirtan Darbar (BMYKD) Society today honoured Manjeet Singh Narang, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur in recognition of his best services in Ferozepur district.

Welcoming the Deputy Commissioner and the citizens of Ferozpeur, Sarabjeet Singh Chhabra, General Secretary of BMKYD Society highlighted the contribution of the society during the last 20 years in the field of religion and society services.

On this occasion, Harpal Singh Bhullar, President of the society said, “The society is feeling immense pleasure in honouring Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur, in lieu of his precious contribution in the development and public services”.

Bhullar also appealed to the Deputy Commissioner to arrange more funds from the government for the over-all development of Ferozepur City and whole of the district.

Deputy Commissioner thanked all the office-bearer of the society, NGOs and the citizens of Ferozepur for honouring him and said, “His only aim is to do the service in the district as a servant, to implement the policies and directions of the government and over-all development of the district”.

He further said, “He will make arrangements to start the development works in the district by managing the required funds for the purpose from the government”.

He also announced that those panchayats which will work for development of the village, without any dispute and quarrel, a special grant of Rs.1 lakh will be given to those panchayats.

On this occasion, in a simple and impressive ceremony, Santokh Singh Sandhu, Chairman, Bhai Jaspal Singh, Federation leader, Dr. Varinderjit Singh Dhilon, Gurmit Singh Virk, Gurkirpal Singh Virk, Amrik Sinagh and Swarn Singh, General Secretary and members of the society and representative various religious and social organisations in good number  were present.
