Chandigarh, September 21, 2025: The Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE), in collaboration with the University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, held the Valedictory Ceremony of its Skill Enhancement Course on ‘Professional Communication and Prepping Bootcamp’.
The two-week Bootcamp provided students with intensive training in professional communication, presentation skills, body language, negotiation, conflict resolution, group discussions, and mock interviews. The focus was on preparing students with skills essential for both workplace success and personal growth.
Delivering the valedictory address, Prof. Meenakshi Malhotra encouraged students to apply the learnings from the Bootcamp in both professional and personal contexts. She emphasised that communication is not only an individual skill but also the cornerstone of effective teamwork. “In today’s workplaces, success depends as much on how well you collaborate as on what you know. Clear, respectful, and empathetic communication builds trust, strengthens teams, and ensures collective goals are achieved,” she observed. She further noted that “this Bootcamp was designed to make the students not only industry-ready but also life-ready.”
Students also shared feedback on their learning experience, appreciating the hands-on sessions and expert-led practice drills that built both confidence and competence.
