Bath Spa University, United Kingdom Evinces Interest in Student and Faculty Exchange Program with Panjab University
Bath Spa University, UK, has evinced interest in initiating a student and faculty exchange program with Panjab University, Chandigarh. Bath Spa University Senior Lecturer Dr. Vandana Singh visited PU and met the PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig and other senior officers at the University.

Chandigarh, 6 August 2025: Bath Spa University, UK, has evinced interest in initiating a student and faculty exchange program with Panjab University, Chandigarh. Bath Spa University Senior Lecturer Dr. Vandana Singh visited PU and met the PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig and other senior officers at the University.
The two Universities had earlier signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was aimed at fostering academic collaboration between the two institutions of India and the UK.
In the meeting, the two Universities discussed the modalities and detailed terms & conditions for furthering research and academic collaboration, so that students of both Universities could be benefited. Both Universities agreed to organise an online meeting between senior officers of the two Universities for further deliberations.
The two Universities deliberated on a wide range of academic exchanges, including student exchange programs lasting from six months to one year and faculty exchange initiatives to strengthen teaching and research collaborations. Various other key points of collaboration and mutual academic interests were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by senior university officials, including Dean of University Instructions Prof. Yojna Rawat; Dean, International Students Prof. Kewal Krishan; Chairperson, Department of Education Prof. Satvinderpal Kaur; and Department of Education Prof. Kuldeep Kaur.
The meeting was constructive and marked an important step towards strengthening international academic partnerships.
