Banaras Locomotive Works, Banaras wins 69th All India Railway Golf Championship 2025-26
Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala finishes Runners- Up
Kapurthala, January 8, 2026: The 69th All India Railway Golf Championship held at RCF Golf Course concluded today, with Banaras Locomotive Works, Banaras team winning the championship with a score of 448.
Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala team secured the first runners up position with a score of 452 while the team of South Central Railway, Secundrabad scored 472 strokes and got the second runner up position.
After the first round on, RCF team was in first place with a score of 222 strokes, while Banaras team was second with 226 and South Central Railway was third with 235 strokes.
On this occasion, the awards were distributed by Amar Singh, Retired Chief Engineer RCF. The Banaras team led by Imamul Haque, Gulfam Hussain, Ritesh and Hemant Yadav received the Winners Trophy from the Chief Guest. The RCF team led by Yuvraj Singh, Ranvir Singh, Jagmohan Singh and Deepak Sharma received the Runners-Up Trophy from the Chief Guest.
Besides, Yuvraj Singh (RCF) got the credit of winning the longest drive competition and was adjudged the Best Golfer with gross score of 141. Gulfam Hussain and Imamul Haque of Banaras were given the first runners up and second runners up award with a score of 148 each. Raja Babu Ali of South Eastern Railway team won the Nearest to Pin Event.
K S Asla, Principal Financial Adviser /RCF and President of RCF Sports Association, all senior officers , members of Railway Sports Promotion Board and RCF Sports Association were present on the occasion.
