Azaad Channel artists seek Bappa's blessing this Ganesh Chaturthi

Neelu Vaghela (Uma Devi in serial Pavitraa Bharose  ka Safar on AZAAD Channel) :
Ganesh Chaturthi is very important for me, I feel when Ganpati Bappa comes home all negative energies are removed from the house. He spreads new happiness and prosperity and blesses my children. I only go to a mandir and pray there for forgiveness for anything wrong I have done and request Ganpati to reduce our sorrows. I will pray for peace and harmony and relief from the covid pandemic this year. Earlier we would celebrate with a lot of fanfare. And I hope that those days come back soon. But we are happy that things are better this year than compared to last year.
Shaily Priya (Pavitraa in serial Pavitraa Bharose Ka Safar on AZAAD Channel):
Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all. We'll definitely have a puja at home. Also I am very fond of steamed Modak. So it will be a Ganpati puja with lots of sweets. Ganesh Chaturthi has a very special meaning to me. When I was new in Mumbai and my journey in acting had just begun, I would always pray to God for good work. After some months of struggle, the first time I faced the camera in Mumbai was on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. It was for an ad shoot. I took this as a hint that Bappa has got my back and has sent me his good wishes and most importantly removed all the obstacles.
Ganesh Chaturthi is the biggest festival celebrated in the city of Mumbai. Huge pandals are made which attracts thousands of devotees every year. Earlier we would visit as many pandals as we could but post pandemic this has completely changed. Crowd gathering is strictly prohibited. Last year we stayed indoors and did a puja at home. Most of the sweets were also homemade. Most probably this year will also be the same. Even if we step out it would be with complete safety precautions.
Ganesha as a God is an institute of knowledge. Since we cannot step out to visit pandals, I would really want us all to know about his life teachings and how believing in him would make us all stay positive and believe in ourselves.
Also, since our new show is coming "Pavitraa..bharose ka safar" I really ask Bappa for his blessings and may he shower us with good wishes and make our show a big success.
Aastha Abhay (Janaki in Meri Doli Mere Angana on AZAAD Channel):
Ganesh Chaturthi in general is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha. But to me this festival means a mark to new beginnings and a fresh start as Lord Ganesha is considered to be a symbol of wisdom and  good fortune and we all need his blessings for everything we do. I will do a small puja at my home and seek his blessings like always. People have adapted themselves with changing conditions across the country. Pre Covid, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with pomp and show. We could see massive celebrations with people being enthusiastic about the festival. But post covid people have constricted their celebrations but definitely not lost the required enthusiasm and the vibe. When it comes to Indian festivals I love doing all the prep work even when I am at home or here in Mumbai. I will make sure that it's done with all positive and healthy vibes.
Surendra Pal Singh (Gyanendra Singh in Meri Doli Mere Angana on AZAAD Channel):
Ganpati Festival is a very important festival in my life. We celebrate it with a lot fanfare all these years. The festival is full of faith and devotion for me. And I feel that whichever household Ganpati enters, there is peace and prosperity in that house. I do not have too many expectations from Ganesh ji and I do not celebrate the festival with any selfish motive. I celebrate it only for peace and prosperity. And I celebrate it in an eco friendly way too so that there is no harm to the environment and water animals. I share this festival with my friends and we get together with one murti. We organise food and katha pujan on the day of the immersion. But since the pandemic we have tried to follow all covid protocols during these festivities. I have even got Ganpati ji wear a mask in my house too.
