Awareness camp for skill training courses at PAU Camps Senior Secondary School

Ludhiana, October 20, 2023: A mobilization camp was organized by the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings on October 17 to aware the youth at P.A.U. Camps Sr. Sec. School, Ludhiana for joining the various skill development courses running at CICU Skill Development Centre at Gill Road. 

CICU is a training provider with a training center at Gill Road and students are regularly taking classes in the flexi hours for short-term courses. The center is Accredited & and Affiliated with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), PSDM, NABET, and QCI and certified by SMART (Skill Management & Accreditation of Training Centers) & and ISO 9001:2015 Certified.

Dicky Chhabra Convener, CICU-WEF, Vimi Bajaj, Co-Convener, Dr. Shweta Miglani, Executive Member, and N.K. Gupta Director of CICU along with Rakhi charge of the IT Vocational Courses Cell of PAU and Principal Balwinder Kaur were present on this occasion. More than 50 students of 12th class participated in this program. While addressing the participants Dicky Chhabra Convener, CICU-WEF, told the need & importance of Skill Development Programs for these candidates.

N.K Gupta did the need analysis for the participants on the spot for various courses and the CICU team keep in view the educational standards and career options of various students. He further explained to the candidates about the needs of these skill trainings for improving livelihood as well as playing of a constructive role in society after getting these skill trainings by them. This will boost the morale. Brochure containing details of the various programs at CICU Skill Development Centre was distributed to the students. Which enables them for part time or full time jobs. This will help the students to serve their nation & states rather than going abroad in search of petty jobs there causing brain drain & economic loss etc. There is an urgent need of skill trained youth for our country's development & sustainable growth being a fast-growing economy.    

Principle Balwinder Kaur expressed thanks to the CICU team for their visit to the P.A.U. Camps Sr. Sec. School for sharing valuable Skill Development Programs and assured that interested candidates will be further motivated to join this program.
