Ashmah International School Organizes Drug De-addiction Seminar & awareness rally
Ashmah International School, Sector 70, Mohali, organized a drug de-addiction seminar and various awareness activities. The event was attended by Ramesh Aggarwal, President of Dr. Inder Kaur Charitable Trust, and P.R. Mittal, Lecturer from the Haryana Education Department. They informed the students about the ill effects of drugs and delivered a message to "Say No to Drugs."

Mohali, September 12, 2025: Ashmah International School, Sector 70, Mohali, organized a drug de-addiction seminar and various awareness activities. The event was attended by Ramesh Aggarwal, President of Dr. Inder Kaur Charitable Trust, and P.R. Mittal, Lecturer from the Haryana Education Department. They informed the students about the ill effects of drugs and delivered a message to "Say No to Drugs."
As part of the awareness campaign, the school held several competitions to engage and educate the students. A painting competition was organized, where students used their creative expression to address the issue of drug de-addiction. In addition, students demonstrated their awareness by writing effective slogans in a slogan writing competition. The event also included a speech competition, where students spoke out against the dangers of drug abuse.
The school's principal, Suchi Grover, stated that our goal is not just to provide academic knowledge but also to make our students good human beings. This anti-drug awareness campaign is an important step in that direction.The Director J.S. Kesar, motivated the students by saying, "Drug addiction is a social evil, and we all have to work together to combat it. We are happy that our students participated in this campaign with great enthusiasm. At the end of the program, trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners of the various competitions.
