Arjun Ranga, CEO, N Ranga Rao & Sons, appointed new Vice-President of All India Agarbathi Manufacturers Association

Mumbai, April 24, 2017: Mr.Arjun Ranga, CEO, N Ranga Rao & Sons, makers of Cycle Pure Agarbathies from the house of NR Group, has added another feather to his cap. Mr.Ranga has been unanimously elected Vice-President of the All India Agarbathi Manufacturers Association (AIAMA) for 2017-2018.
Arjun Ranga, is a third-generation business visionary of NR Group. Mr. Ranga along with his brothers have helped the organization grow and flourish. The group is now a successful conglomerate with business interests in verticals ranging from agarbathi to the high-growth sector of aerospace.
The All India Agarbathi Manufacturers’ Association (AIAMA) was established in 1949 to redress grievances of the agarbathi manufacturers as well as to engage in developmental activities. It was originally known as the Mysore Oodabathi Manufacturers’ Association (MOMA).
Decades later, AIAMA works towards encouraging co-operation among the agarbathi and allied products manufacturers in India while promoting, supporting or opposing legislative or other measures affecting the industry. The industry encompasses perfumery, commerce, manufacture, industry, transport and finances.
Commenting on the announcement, Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, and newly-appointed Vice-President of AIAMA, said, “I have been associated with the All India Agarbathi Manufacturers Association for quite a few years now, and I am honored to receive the opportunity to serve as the Vice President to the largest body of agarbathi manufacturers in India. As vice-president of the association I would like to work with all the agarbatti manufacturers, post implementation of the GST regime, on expanding their manufacturing base in the state.”
“At the same time, I would use my knowledge of this industry optimally and contribute to the betterment of AIAMA and the industry as whole.” He added.
