Annual fest ‘Goonj’ from March 2-4

Chandigarh, February 7, 2023: University institute of engineering and technology organized an event to release the theme, dates and logo of their annual fest GOONJ. The event was initiated with the auspicious presence of the Director, Prof. J.K. Goswamy, Goonj Coordinator Dr. Shankar Sehgal, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Dr. Shuchi Gupta and Dr. Deepak Kumar. They motivated the students and the Organising Committee of Goonj to work further and better for the embellishment of the fest. The video dedicated to the theme of Goonj was played revealing the most anticipated forte of the event “Bollywood Bash”. The theme ignites the spark of the most dazzling and ravishing festive vibrance. The event will be on 2nd, 3rd and 4th of March, 2023. 

About GOONJ : Goonj is the annual cultural festival of UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh. It is a platform for students to showcase their talents and showcase the cultural diversity of the institution. The festival is eagerly awaited by students and staff alike and is a much-needed break from the rigors of academic life. Goonj is a celebration of art, music, dance, and culture, and it brings together students from different backgrounds and cultures to create a truly vibrant and inclusive environment. The festival is organized by a team of dedicated students and is supported by the faculty and staff of UIET. The festival is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents, network with peers and industry professionals, and create lifelong memories.
