Annual Day Celebrations at Nirdosh School

Ludhiana, April 16, 2022: Annual Day celebrations of Nirdosh School for Mentally Challenged Children run by Inner Wheel Club of Ludhiana were held with great zeal and enthusiasm today at the Rotary Ludhiana premises. Function was held on the theme of “Time... journey of life”.

Almost all the 48 students participated depicting different emotions. The function was graced by our worthy chief guest Gopi Kothari of Kay Jay Forgings. The function was attended by many dignitaries of Ludhiana.

Nirdosh School Chairperson Alka Chhabra gave the welcome address highlighting various achievements and activities of the school. Co- chairperson Kitty Bakshi gave an emotional and beautiful description of the time concept depicting journey of life through the wonderful performance of children.

The annual report of the school was read by Principal Surat Singh. All the special Nirdosh children placed at various factories and shops living a dignified life were acknowledged, staff, helpers and auto rickshaw walas of school were presented with token gifts to acknowledge the hard work put by them throughout the year.

The most memorable moment of the function was marked by the word of advice and appreciation by the Chief Guest Mr Gopi Kothari, while addressing the parents and staff. Stall displaying all the vocational stuff made by the students and staff was also put on for sale.

Function was concluded by the formal vote of thanks by co-chairperson Harkirat Kaur. Various dignitaries, Rotarians, members of Inner wheel Club of Ludhiana, PDC Namrta Singhania, Immediate past Chairperson Madhu Khosla, Nirdosh treasurer Ripi Chatwal, Sudarshan Khanna, Manjula Jain, Praveen Narang, President Ranbir Kaur etc...

Overall the function concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to further establish the milestone in the journey of success.
