He highlighted how government schemes such as PM Kisan SAMPADA and PMFME—offering 35–50% financial assistance—along with facilities like cold chains, testing labs and incubation centres, are emerging as strong pillars of rural jobs and entrepreneurship.
Nandini Roy Choudhury of Future Market Insights added, “For Gen Z, transparency is not a bonus—it's the minimum expectation. They want to know how their food is made and what impact it has on the world.”
Rajesh Rathore, ED, MPIDC, positioned Madhya Pradesh as an emerging food-processing hub, while FICCI’s Balvinder Singh Sahni called Annapoorna Interfood 2025 a defining platform that has revived the post-Covid value chain.
