Rohtak, December 23, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the Agri Stack project is being implemented across the district in a mission mode on a village-wise basis to ensure comprehensive, accurate and verified registration of farmers’ data. He directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrates to prepare structured plans for tehsil-wise selection of villages and systematic execution of the registration process.

Chairing a meeting at the Mini Secretariat regarding registration of farmers’ data on the Agri Stack Portal, launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that data accuracy is critical and instructed all concerned officers to exercise utmost caution while uploading farmers’ details on the portal.

DC Sachin Gupta said that under the Digital Agriculture Mission–2024, the Agri Stack Portal is being developed using Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) to integrate agriculture-related schemes and services. Once registered, farmers will be able to seamlessly avail benefits of various government schemes through a unified digital platform.

He informed that joint teams of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department and the Revenue Department have been constituted to carry out farmer data registration in all villages. After village selection, public awareness will be created through munadi, followed by registration camps at public places as per a fixed schedule to ensure maximum farmer participation.

Explaining the process, the Deputy Commissioner stated that farmers’ data will be collected by the Agriculture Department with their consent and subsequently verified by the Revenue Department. Upon verification, a unique Farmer ID will be generated. Modules such as Meri Fasal, Mera Byora, crop loss assessment and compensation will be integrated with the Agri Stack platform.
