Admitted, Feature Documentary selected in National Competition Section of 17th Mumbai International Film Festival 2022

Chandigarh, May 27, 2022: Admitted continues with its success run at the film festivals. Ojaswwee Sharma's critically acclaimed and viewers' choice feature documentary Admitted will be screening at this year's 17th Mumbai International Film Festival in National Competition Section Category of MIFF 2022.

The screening of the documentary will be held on 2nd June, 2022 in the Films Division Complex, Mumbai.

MIFF is hosted by the Films Division of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Awardee Director of Admitted, Ojaswwee Sharma, while expressing his happiness and joy said that "I am really excited to share the film at MIFF 2022 and screenings with global filmmakers and hoping to learn and share experiences with directors, producers, exhibitors coming from all parts of India and the World.

This makes it the 15th Official Selection for the 5 - time Awarded documentary along with international recognition to the film which is based on the striking and revolutionary journey of Mx Dhananjay Chauhan to become the 1st Transgender student of Panjab University, Chandigarh - as story of human rights of the transgender community, their education and equal opportunities.

Admitted has been produced by Pinaka Mediaworks and Rolling Frames Entertainment.
