Chandigarh, June 2, 2025: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh today started the admission process for various courses and programs in the PU Campus. The University today notified the admission notice for academic session 2025-26. NEP was implemented in PU teaching departments from 2023-24 and affiliated colleges from 2024-25.
PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig, Dean University Instructions (DUI), Prof. Yojna Rawat, Registrar Prof. Y.P. Verma, Dean College Development Council Prof. Sanjay Kaushik today launched the Handbook of Information 2025-26 comprising of all courses, seats, fees, eligibility of courses and other relevant details.
Prof. Vig informed that all the students' related information like number of courses, seats, fees and other relevant details are available in the Handbook of Information, which can be accessed at the PU website. From this year, University has approved that NSS certificate will be valid for lifetime. The University has increased the seats of Foreign Nationals to the extent of 25 percent from the session 2025-26 (except for the courses governed by the regulatory bodies). The Handbook of Information 2025-26 comprises all the changes that have been approved by the competent authority till date, she further added.
DUI Prof. Yojna Rawat informed that the University has implemented many initiatives to assist and guide the admission-seeking students. She said that the University is expecting a huge response for the admissions as large numbers of students from all parts of the country were putting enquiries regarding the admission process at PU. The online forms comprise 23 UG courses and 127 PG courses, she further added.
