Acting legend Piyush Mishra performs at a musical evening in Pacific Mall Tagore Garden

The crowd gave thunderous cheers and a standing ovation when the much-admired actor Piyush Mishra sounded off ‘Aarambh hai Prachand’, written by him, in his stentorian vocals at Pacific Mall Tagore Garden’s musical night. Popular entertainment juggernaut Pacific Mall Tagore Garden organized a musical evening on 23rd November, and the show's star attraction was multi-talented actor, lyricist, and music composer, Piyush Mishra, who came along with his music project band, Ballimaaraan. The musical evening took place in association with Tata Housing.

Piyush Mishra, who is popularly known for his class acts in Bollywood films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Tamasha’, and ‘Pink’ among others, has also penned lyrics for movies such as ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ and ‘Shamshera’. The lesser-known fact is that he is a talented music composer and singer.

Piyush Mishra sang some amazing songs and renditions and fluttered everyone’s hearts with his melodies and vocals. His charisma and stage presence bowled over the crowd, and he was equally witty and narrated many engaging stories of the early phases of his career. His band, ‘Ballimaaraan’ drew applause for their sincere performance and raw talent. Piyush Mishra hummed songs of diverse nature, including some of his self-written ballads.
