Chandigarh October 15, 2016: Ms Aastha Chadha, a B.Pharm student of University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) brought laurels to the name of Panjab University (PU) by bagging the prestigious scholarship award, "TOEFL scholarship program", amounting to USD 7000. She has been chosen amongst the top 100 candidates selected during the two rounds of the program.
She has left the UIPS, PU recently to pursue her Master's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Toledo, Ohio, USA.
The TOEFL® Program supports an array of scholarships, educational initiatives and community programs in countries around the world. Their Scholarships and Giving initiative aims to provide educational assistance and opportunities to students worldwide to help them achieve their academic goals. Amongst top 100, a total of fifteen scholarships valued at US$7,000 each are awarded, to the students excelling from India.
