AAP supports agitation by Parents Association

Ludhiana, February 4, 2016: Aam Aadmi Party supported the agitation being held by Parents Association, which was joined by many party volunteers on Wednesday. Worth mentioning is the fact here that Parents Association has been protesting at Jagraon bridge for the last many days against the hefty increase in school fees by Private schools.

On this occasion justifying the protest AAP Ludhiana zone coordinator Col.C.M.Lakhanpal (Retd) said that it is wrong to increase the school fees without taking the prior consent of the parents. It is also not justified that schools should charge amount under different heads like re-admission fees, building funds and development funds. He demanded from the government that the demands of parents should be immediately met and strict action should be taken against erring schools who are charging exorbitantly.
