AAP Gains More Strength Ahead of By-election! Hundreds Join the Party in Ludhiana West
During a press conference held in Ludhiana by Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and AAP Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi, hundreds of individuals joined the Aam Aadmi Party. These new members, having left traditional parties, pledged their support to AAP in the Ludhiana West by-election. This development marks a significant boost for AAP, strengthening its position for a decisive victory in the by-election.

Ludhiana, June 9, 2025: During a press conference held in Ludhiana by Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and AAP Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi, hundreds of individuals joined the Aam Aadmi Party. These new members, having left traditional parties, pledged their support to AAP in the Ludhiana West by-election. This development marks a significant boost for AAP, strengthening its position for a decisive victory in the by-election.
Notably, several prominent members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Ludhiana, including District IT Cell Coordinator Harkirat Singh Arora, Executive Member Mandeep Kumar, IT Cell Mandal In-charge Akhilesh Kumar, Shakti Kendra In-charge Ranjit Singh, IT Cell Executive Member Rohit Kumar Mishra, Shakti Kendra In-charge Neha Rani, and Sajan Sandhu, have officially left the BJP to join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
In addition, prominent Congress leaders, including Jagmohan Kang and his nephew Jaideep Singh Mander, along with Daljit Singh Basant, have joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Several members of the National Students Union of India (NSUI), including Rajat Chauhan, Monu Rana, Shamsher Jet India, Aman, Ravi Arora, Rohit Pohl, Arun, Jaspreet Singh, Anmol, Sunny, Ravdeep Saran, Mani, Sandy Gujjar, and Ajay Malhotra, have also pledged their support to AAP.
Furthermore, the NSUI team from Atam Nagar, including Prabh Ramgarhia, Sam, Ronny Dugri, Kaku, Dilpreet Singh, and Radhe, was warmly welcomed into the Aam Aadmi Party by Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi.
At the press conference, Shery Kalsi expressed his delight about AAP’s growing strength, stating, “Day by day, the Aam Aadmi Party family is expanding. Everyday, prominent leaders from opposition parties are joining AAP, as our party is recognized for its dedicated work and commitment to the welfare of the people.” He warmly welcomed all the new members into the party.
