Aanchal Khurana to Enter Meri Saasu Maa

ZEE TV’s popular show Meri Saasu Maa is all set for a new twist amidst all the high voltage drama surrounding lead couple Pari (Hiba Nawab) and Sattu’s (Pearl V Puri) life. Aanchal Khurana, who was last noted for her spirited performances as Charu in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan and Mannu in Sarojiniwill enter the show as Roop, a dancer from a small village in UP, who has struggled her way up and managed to find her foothold in the dance bars of Mumbai.

Unlike other village belles, Roop is educated, has completed her schooling and is driven my money. Commenting on her character, Aanchal shares, ‘I play this shrewd, selfish, carefree, small town girl Roop. She is a complete go getter and believes that beauty and money together can conquer the world. She has beauty and has no qualms in flaunting it but money is something she is desperately chasing. She comes with the intention of causing a rift in Pari and Sattu’s relationship. She enjoys creating problems in people’s lives and derives pleasure in their misery.’’ She further adds, ‘’ I am working hard to get the dialect and body language right and am totally excited to play Roop. I got recognition in the field of acting because of my producer Saba Mumtaz, who had written my character of Charu for my first show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and with the character of Roop, I yet again intend to entertain the audiences. Hope the viewers like me in this new avatar’’.

Roop will enter the show to create problems between Sattu and Pari but will gradually fall in love with him. So will Pari be able to save her love and marriage from the clutches and evil intentions of Roop?
