Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the Class 10 Social Science Board Examination conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education was held peacefully and transparently in Rohtak district with comprehensive arrangements made by the district administration.

Rohtak, March 16, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the Class 10 Social Science Board Examination conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education was held peacefully and transparently in Rohtak district with comprehensive arrangements made by the district administration.

According to the data shared during the review, 9,528 students appeared for the examination out of a total of 9,647 registered candidates, while 119 students remained absent.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration had made elaborate arrangements to ensure fair and smooth conduct of the examinations. Flying squads were constituted and Duty Magistrates were deployed at examination centres to maintain strict vigilance and prevent unfair practices.

He further informed that 45 examination centers have been established across the district for the ongoing board examinations. Adequate police arrangements were also made at all centers to maintain law and order and ensure a secure examination environment.

To ensure continuous monitoring, a control room has been set up at the office of the District Education Officer. The control room is being supervised by officers of principal rank along with supporting staff. The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the district administration remains committed to ensuring transparent, fair and well-managed board examinations for all students.
