815 Narayan Limbs Distributed to 745 Differently-Abled Individuals; Emotional Moments Mark New Beginnings
Telangana Governor Inaugurates Narayan Seva Sansthan’s Free Modular Limb Fitment Camp
Hyderabad, May 3, 2026: A mega free Narayan Modular Artificial Limb and Caliper Fitment Camp, along with a Bhamashah Felicitation Ceremony, was organized by Narayan Seva Sansthan at Exhibition Grounds, Hyderabad, in collaboration with CSR partners Make a Change Foundation (UK), Golden Jubilee, and Shree Swaminarayan Temple Willesden (UK).
The camp was graced by Chief Guest Shiv Pratap Shukla, Governor of Telangana, and Guest of Honour T. G. Bharath, Minister of Industries and Commerce, Andhra Pradesh.
During the camp, 815 Narayan Modular artificial limbs and calipers were provided free of cost to 745 differently-abled individuals. Some beneficiaries received lower limbs, some upper limbs, while others were fitted with multiple limbs. Steps that had been halted for years began moving again, and faces once filled with despair now reflected confidence and joy. The camp witnessed several emotional moments- some beneficiaries played football for the first time with their new legs, while others experienced independence by drinking water with their newly fitted hands.
Chief Guest, Telangana Governor Pratap Shukla, expressed his emotions, stating,
“Today’s scenes reflect the true victory of humanity. Narayan Seva Sansthan has taken service to remarkable heights. Watching the Divyang parade, I could not hold myself back and personally greeted and encouraged them. Under the leadership of Prashant Agarwal, this work is an inspiration for the entire nation and the world.”
He also extended his best wishes to all beneficiaries and assured full support from Raj Bhavan.
Guest of Honour, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Industries and Commerce T. G. Bharath, said,
“This initiative of Narayan Seva Sansthan is a powerful example of empowering differently-abled individuals and integrating them into the mainstream of society. This is not just service, but a life-transforming mission.”
He also announced plans to organize a similar camp in his constituency.
Social worker Satya Bhushan Jain, Patron Alka Choudhary, Trustee & Director Devendra Choubisa, and PR Head Bhagwan Prasad Gaur welcomed the dignitaries in traditional Mewari style.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting. The Governor interacted with beneficiaries, witnessed their parade, and also learned about the German technology used in manufacturing the artificial limbs. Telangana MLC Boggur Dayanand also visited the camp and appreciated the organization’s efforts.
Providing details, Trustee & Director Devendra Choubisa said that over 1,000 Disabled individuals had registered during the selection camp held on February 1, out of which 745 beneficiaries were served in this camp. He added that the expert team successfully fitted advanced Narayan Modular limbs and also trained beneficiaries in their usage and maintenance. Free meals, refreshments, and tea were arranged for all attendees.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Patron Alka Choudhary. Hundreds of donors, including Rahul Khanna, Mahendra Agarwal, Govind Rathi, Ashok Pamrecha, Mahendra Golcha of Vardhman Bank, and Prem Prakash Singhvi, were felicitated. The event was anchored by Mahim Jain.
Notably, Narayan Seva Sansthan has been dedicated to selfless service since 1985. Its founder Kailash Manav has been honored with the Padma Shri, while President Prashant Agarwal received the President’s Award in 2023.
So far, the organization has provided free artificial limbs to over 39,591 differently-abled individuals and has offered free medical treatment to more than 452,000 beneficiaries.
