5-day workshop on art & design in production organised

Jalandhar, November 8, 2016: PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Doaba College Jalandhar organised a 5 Day Workshop in Art & Design in which reputed set designer Gagandeep graced the occasion. She was accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr. Naresh Kumar Dhiman, Head Dr. Simran Sidhu, Faculty and 30 students. Gagandeep apprised the students about the concept, technique and sensibility of set design. She highlighted the relevance of line in design and differentiation between manmade and nature made lines. She also talked about interpretation of different colours, volume and texture. Thereafter she gave exercise to collect five properties in order to make models and miniatures.
