10th Mega Job Fair on July 1 at CICU
Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain on Thursday appealed to the youth of the district to actively participate in the 10th Mega Job Fair, being organized on July 1 at the CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Ludhiana, June 26, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain on Thursday appealed to the youth of the district to actively participate in the 10th Mega Job Fair, being organized on July 1 at the CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The job fair is being held in collaboration between the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) and the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE), Ludhiana.
This milestone event is a significant outcome of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between CICU and the Department of Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training, Punjab, with a vision to provide over 4,500 employment opportunities over the next two years. The MoU was formalized during the Chief Executive Officers (CxO) Meet-2024, held on September 17, 2024 in Chandigarh, where industry leaders and policymakers came together to promote collaborative strategies for youth employment and skill development.
Deputy Commissioner Jain highlighted the event as a pivotal step toward bridging the gap between job seekers and employers. “This job fair is a golden opportunity for both freshers and experienced candidates to engage directly with recruiters from leading companies and secure rewarding careers across diverse sectors,” he said, encouraging enthusiastic participation.
Over 30 renowned companies will offer a wide array of roles, including Computer Operator, Assistant Accountant, Office Assistant, Digital Marketer, Welder, CNC/VMC Operator, Diesel Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Production Supervisor, Tailor, Designer, Sales Executive, Store Manager, and more. The fair is open to candidates aged 18 and above with qualifications ranging from 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, Graduate, Post Graduate, B.Tech, to MBA. Participants must attend in formal attire and bring five copies of their updated resume along with photocopies of academic and technical certificates for on-the-spot interviews and selections.
