Zonal level events to be held in Ludhiana from April 5 to 7: ADC Sandeep Kumar

Ludhiana: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Sandeep Kumar on Friday said that the zonal level events for World Skill Competition 2022 would be held in Ludhiana from April 5 to 7.

Presiding over a meeting, he said that those who are interested to participate in the World Skill Competition 2022 which would be held in Shanghai, China can register themselves on the website of Punjab Skill Development Mission.

Kumar said the competition would initially be conducted at the district, zonal level followed by a state-level, and then the winner would enter for national-level competition. He told that the winners at the national level would be eligible to participate in World Skill Competition 2022.

He said candidates could participate in 44 trades such as bricklaying, cabinet making, carpentry, landscape, gardening, painting and decorating, plumbing and heating, refrigeration and air conditioning, CNC Mulling, Car Painting, Electronics, Print Media Technology, Jewellery, Bakery, Cooking, Beauty Therapy, Health and Social care, wall and floor tiling, Graphic Design Technology, Web Design, and others.

He exhorted the youths to take part in the competition for showcasing their skills and talent to the world.
