Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections to mark turning point in Punjab politics: Grewal 

Ludhiana, December 14, 2025: National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan today wrote on his X social media account a heartfelt and confident message, expressing deep faith in the Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab and its dedicated leadership ahead of the Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Elections 2025.

Grewal said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is set to deliver a strong and encouraging performance across Punjab in the upcoming district council and block committee elections. He said that the people of Punjab, especially those living in rural and agrarian areas, have firmly made up their minds to vote in favour of BJP candidates with full conviction and hope.

Grewal said that the rural population of Punjab has grown tired and disillusioned with corrupt governance, false promises and repeated failures of the Aam Aadmi Party government. He said that people have already witnessed the rule of the Congress party and the Akali Dal, and after careful experience and understanding, they have reached a clear conclusion that the real welfare of Punjab can only be ensured through the strong hands of the Central Government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He said that there is a growing sense of trust among the masses that national vision, disciplined governance and honest leadership are the true strengths of the BJP. He said that the people now understand that development, security, farmers’ welfare, youth opportunities and national pride are best protected when the state walks in harmony with the Centre.

Grewal said that the BJP organization in Punjab is fully energized, united and working tirelessly at the grassroots level. He said that district incharges and Vidhan Sabha incharges across the state are performing their responsibilities with full dedication, sincerity and discipline. According to Grewal, these leaders are maintaining constant contact with villagers, workers and voters, while conveying the policies, achievements and vision of the BJP in an honest and transparent manner.

Grewal said that senior leaders and organizational incharges, including district heads, Vidhan Sabha coordinators and booth level workers, are jointly strengthening the party structure in every district such as Amritsar, Barnala, Bathinda, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, Firozpur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Khanna, Ludhiana, Malerkotla, Mansa, Moga, Mohali, Muktsar, Nawanshahr, Pathankot, Patiala, Sangrur, Tarn Taran and other regions of Punjab.

He said that this collective effort reflects the seriousness of the BJP leadership towards grassroots democracy and clean local governance. Grewal expressed heartfelt appreciation for the commitment shown by all district incharges, Vidhan Sabha incharges, co incharges and party workers who are working day and night to ensure a positive change in Punjab’s political direction.

Grewal said that the upcoming Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections will mark a turning point in Punjab politics. He said that the people of Punjab are ready for honest leadership, development oriented governance and a future aligned with national progress, and that future clearly stands with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
