ZEE Partners with Baseball United — Bringing Professional Baseball to Millions of Indian Homes
In a landmark move, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) has joined hands with Baseball United, the first-ever professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and South Asia. Through this partnership, ZEE will broadcast all 21 matches of Baseball United’s debut season, including primetime games of India’s first professional baseball franchise — the Mumbai Cobras.

(ZEE) has joined hands with Baseball United, the first-ever professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and South Asia. Through this partnership, ZEE will broadcast all 21 matches of Baseball United’s debut season, including primetime games of India’s first professional baseball franchise — the Mumbai Cobras.
The season kicks off on November 14, when the Mumbai Cobras play their historic first match, featuring six Indian players alongside global stars.
Lakshmi Shetty, Head of Broadcast & Digital at ZEE, said the collaboration reflects ZEE’s mission to diversify sports entertainment and connect Indian fans with international sporting experiences. With feeds in Hindi and English, the league aims to ignite a new wave of enthusiasm for baseball in India.
Baseball United CEO Kash Shaikh called the partnership a milestone, giving India’s 50 million baseball fans their own team to cheer for.
