Youth festivals winners honoured in Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar: Around 150 students of Lyallpur Khalsa College who excelled in Zonal and interzonal youth festivals of the University for Session 2018-19 and 2019-20 were honoured in the college today. The chief guest of the event was Mr. Sukhcharan Singh Malhi the renowned musician, poet, choreographer and producer-director.  Speaking on the occasion the College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that the college was committed to all-round development of its students. He said that the college had given a number of artists to the country in the field of theatre, music and poetry and was always ready to promote folk art and artists.  The College Dean Cultural Activities Dr. Tarsem Singh welcomed the chief guest and students. Addressing the present, the Chief Guest Mr. Sukhcharan Singh Malhi lauded the efforts of college for promotion of Art and literature.
