Mohali, June 14, 2022: As many as 70 units of blood were collected during a blood donation camp organized at Ivy Hospital, Mohali to mark World Blood Donor Day on Tuesday.
Gurtej Singh, Chairman of Ivy Group of Hospitals inaugurated the camp with a cake cutting. Dr Raka Kaushal, Director of Nephrology was also present during the occasion..
Speaking during the occasion, Dr Varun Hatwal, consultant Blood Centre said that donating blood to save someone's life not only is a great task but also helps in keeping your health on the right track. It can keep you healthy both mentally and physically. In order to raise awareness about the life-saving noble act, he asserted.
