Workshop on theme understanding national education policy held

Jalandhar, November 24, 2021: Ivy World School, under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society organized a workshop titled “Understanding National Education Policy(NEP)” to make the teachers aware about NEP.  Resource person Inderjit Kaur systematically explained the policy and cleared the doubts arising in the minds of teachers. She primarily emphasized at  Socio-Emotional connect, inculcation of moral values, enhancement of communication skills , enabling critical thinking are some of the focal points of  NEP . She emphasized on the levels of learning, modifications that would be there in the upcoming examination system and how teachers can make the classes livelier. She specified the importance of IT, Value Education and Art Integration which has become mandatory now. These will not only help the students to be optimistic in their lives but also support them to find a place on the world podium. This is rightly stated, “A man’s feet should be planted in his country but his eyes should survey the world.” The workshop was very enlightening and interactive.
