Workshop on Online Courses in sync with NEP at GHSC-10

Chandigarh, March 18, 2023: Government Home Science College organised a one day workshop to appraise the students about the various online courses offered by IGNOU, New Delhi.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Savita Panwar, Assistant Regional Director, Chandigarh. She spoke about the online courses available on the IGNOU website in all areas of  Home Science. She informed the students about the benefit of enrolling in these courses keeping in mind the changes in course curriculum in alignment with NEP-2020.

She emphasized on the importance of broadening their frontiers of knowledge and gaining experience and expertise through such programs.

Principal of the college Prof. Sudha Katyal encouraged the students to avail such opportunities and further work on improving their repertoire of knowledge focusing on skill based enhancement.
