Woman Chief Secretary - A positive step by Punjab Government

It’s a proud moment witnessing the rise of women to the top hierarchy in different spheres of life, particularly with the appointment of Vini Mahajan as Chief Secretary, Punjab. It will go down in history as the first lady to head this august office. With this rare feat she will certainly be an inspiration for women across the State. This is really a colossal achievement for her, hailing from a humble background, rather a very seasoned bureaucrat, having high academic distinctions and immense personal capabilities, having already served at distinguished positions being the first, Woman Deputy Commissioner and volume speak of her tenure working in Prime Minister Office.   No doubt women are on the progressive path all over the globe and contributing for society with grit and determination towards in every field, even serving as Prime Ministers of few nations. Her appointment as Chief Secretary, Punjab is rather applaudable as it proves her mettle of hard work and hope her new assignment offers progressive hope and augurs well for Punjab. Keeping in view her distinguished service record she will be pivotal towards developing strategic reforms to uplift prospects of Punjab.
