Webinar on research questionnaire development at GNA University

Jalandhar: GNA University organized a Webinar on Research Questionnaire Development on a virtual platform Blackboard. The esteemed resource person for the session was Dr. Sonia Chawla, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Humanities and Management, Dr. BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. The main objective behind organizing this webinar was to acquaint the students with the skills of creating and designing the questionnaire for the purpose of research. 

The program started with the welcoming of the esteemed resource person by Dr. Parveen Singh Kalsi, Assistant Professor, GNA Business School. The FDP was mainly based upon enhancing the research paper writing skills of the faculty members and covered different areas of the same.

Dr. Sonia Chawla commenced the session by highlighting the basic purpose of designing a questionnaire and propounded its requirement in the research being conducted into real life situations. She then moved on to define the process of designing a questionnaire starting with the selection of questions with reference to the objectives of the study, the wording of the questions to be selected and the sequence in which it is to be included. 

Dr. Chawla then necessitated the need and objective as to how the questionnaire is going to fulfil the purpose of research.
Overall, it was an enthralling session wherein all the faculty members participated with full zeal. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks given by Dr. Ashutosh Verma, Associate Professor, GNA Business School.
