Webinar on prevention of corona virus held at Ramgarhia Girls College

Ludhiana: The deadly Corona Virus has spread its tentacles all over the world and to spread awareness about  prevention methods a webinar was held in Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana on Tuesday. 

Mr. Balkar Singh Sandhu, Mayor Ludhiana was the keynote speaker. He also released the book Prevention of Corona Virus written by S. Harbans Singh  Sraon (USA). Mr. Harpreet Singh Sandhu, Senior Advocate Punjab and Haryana High Court was among the speakers. They launched Slogan Brochure to spread awareness among people and also distributed masks with the joint efforts of team Sewa Sankalp Society and team DMC. 

Dr. Hitant, Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy,  DMCH and Dr. Kirandeep Kaur,  Associate Professor,  Pharmacology DMCH were the resource persons. They efficaciously discussed the prevention methods that can save the human beings from falling in the clutches of the pandemic. They talked about the various myths that Indian people follow and the ignorance is dragging them rapidly towards the pandemic. 

S. Ranjodh Singh, President Ramgarhia Educational Council also expressed his views by saying that the right information is crucial for each individual as it is not hard to get since each individual has access to internet.  The authentic information can be gained by searching online resources but from genuine sites. 

Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur thanked all the worthy speakers for their enlightening views. 

S. Gurnek  Singh Principal, Ramgarhia Senior Secondary School for Boys was also present on this occasion.
