Webinar by Music Department PU

Chandigarh: Department of Music, Panjab University, Chandigarh, organized a National Webinar on the topic “Turning Challenges into Opportunities in Performing Arts-With Reference to COVID-19” on 28th July 2020.

Under the directions of, Dr. Rai Bahadur Singh,Assistant Professor, Dept of Music coordinated the Webinar. Renowned academicians and performing artists, Prof. Anupam Mahajan, Ex HOD, Dept of Music, University of Delhi and Dr. Rajesh Kelkar, Head, Dept of Vocal Music, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara were invited as key speakers.

Chairperson and Convener, Prof. Neelam Paul  informed that more than 500 people got registered for the webinar. Live Streaming of the webinar was telecasted through facebook. The count of views of live stream has reached more than 1.6 thousand so far.

Students, Faculty, Academician and artists throughout India were connected to facebook live streaming.
