Vasal Education Group organized a Model United Nations training workshop along with simulated UN sessions to help the students learn the intricacies of debating, garnering support, writing resolutions and changing world opinion for better. The main aim of the effort was to bring the best educational and life skills practices to our doorstep for the Vasal Education Group institution students to flourish in their chosen fields. Opportunities like these are the stepping stones towards a successful life. Emphasis is laid on developing the next generation skills in our students to give them an edge in their life as well as their workspace.

Jalandhar, September 20, 2023: Vasal Education Group organized a Model United Nations training workshop along with simulated UN sessions to help the students learn the intricacies of debating, garnering support, writing resolutions and changing world opinion for better. The main aim of the effort was to bring the best educational and life skills practices to our doorstep for the Vasal Education Group institution students to flourish in their chosen fields. Opportunities like these are the stepping stones towards a successful life. Emphasis is laid on developing the next generation skills in our students to give them an edge in their life as well as their workspace.
 
During the ten day MUN Global Challenge Orientation, Jacob Keeley from Michigan College Alliance, an expert in the field of training students for MUN conferences the world over, worked with the students of Ivy World School, Jalandhar, Gems Cambridge School, Hoshiarpur and Cambridge International School, Dasua, who gained an understanding of the format and function of the United Nations as well as international law. Over 250 students from various schools of Vasal Educational Group represented over 200 countries from around the world over a period of ten days. Students tackled the issue of climate change through writing well researched position papers and giving solution based speechless to address the countless issues associated with the topic. Students undertook the topic through an MUN conference-style simulation, working in diverse teams to write resolutions to address the issue at hand, providing speeches text to promote their papers to their fellow classmates.
 
Students had the opportunity to learn the importance of research writing and giving powerful speeches. The class addressed topics such as leadership strategies in group settings as well as lobbying tactics to build consensus towards global action.
 
K K Vasal, the President of Vasal Educational Group; Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, the Chairman; Ena Vasal, the Vice President; Raghav Vasal, the CEO; and Aditi Vasal, the Director, all conveyed their elation and highlighted the significance to train to be a global citizen. The management also shared their feelings of happiness regarding the opportunities being provided to the students to be ready to lead the world in the future.
