Various Competitions Under Y-20 Summit

Jalandhar, March 14, 2023: The Youth Club of PCM S.D College  for Women,  Jalandhar organised Various   competitions such as Declamation Contest,  Cartooning, Science Rangoli Competition, Patriotic Song Competition and Classical Music (Non-Percussion) Competition  under Y-20 Summit, as per the directives of Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. 

The Y20(Youth-20) Summit is a unique opportunity to allow the youth to provide constructive policy inputs and to utilise the platform to voice their opinions for the world audience. The  themes of the events were future of work; climate change and disaster risk reduction; peacebuilding and reconciliation; and youth in democracy. 

The students participated enthusiastically in the competitions and explained that how this shift is instrumental in making the country self-reliant. 

President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the Managing Committee and the Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar  congratulated the participants and Departments for successfully  organising the  various events Under Y-20.  She further appreciated the efforts of Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She said that this is a noble attempt to put the minds of young generation in right direction and helping them to explore the ways of being independent.
