Vardhman honours the 1971 war veterans 

Ludhiana: On the occasion of 50th anniversary of India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 war, Vardhman Textiles felicitated the veterans with blankets as a token of remembrance for their services. The blankets were collected by Lieutenant Urvashi Chauhan of 130 Air Defence Regiment from the Corporate Office. These blankets will be handed over to the war veterans during a veterans rally to be held on 14th January 2021 at C G Complex, Ludhiana to mark the 5th Tri Services Veterans Day. 

The Group has been honouring Ex-servicemen, war widows and families of martyrs consecutively for five years. The gesture was made by the organization to strengthen the faith of our veterans in the country and its citizens. Mr D K Sindwani, Director, Vardhman expressed gratitude and thanked Indian Army on the behalf of the entire group saying that “These brave hearts are the epitome of core strength, values and unshakeable faith. We can never thank them enough for their sacrifices. Our salute to the real heroes. Jai Hind.”
