UILS Hosts Interactive Session with Alumnus Advocate Utsav Bains on “The Art of Social Change”

The Business and Economics Club of the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, hosted an interactive session with its esteemed alumnus, Advocate Utsav Bains. Advocate Bains is the Special Public Prosecutor for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), representing the Delhi High Court, and is also an empanelled counsel for the National Highways Authority of India, appointed by the Supreme Court.

Chandigarh, October 31, 2025: The Business and Economics Club of the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, hosted an interactive session with its esteemed alumnus, Advocate Utsav Bains. Advocate Bains is the Special Public Prosecutor for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), representing the Delhi High Court, and is also an empanelled counsel for the National Highways Authority of India, appointed by the Supreme Court.

Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Dean, Faculty of Laws, was the Chief Guest of the event. The Club aims to promote entrepreneurial skills among law students and encourage creativity in the fields of business and law. The theme of the event, “The Art of Social Change: Transforming Society through Litigation,” aimed to enhance the students’ legal acumen.

The interactive session was overwhelmingly successful, with numerous questions and queries from the students. The event coordinators were Dr Meenu Saihjpal and Dr Shafali.
