UHSR Students Secure Second Place in National Biochemistry Quiz
Students of the 2025 MBBS batch at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, Radhika Maharana and Prince, have secured second place in the All India Undergraduate Biochemistry Quiz – Energetics held in Mumbai.
Rohtak, August 19, 2026: Students of the 2025 MBBS batch at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, Radhika Maharana and Prince, have secured second place in the All India Undergraduate Biochemistry Quiz – Energetics held in Mumbai.
The national-level competition saw participation from teams representing more than 70 medical colleges across the country.
Vice-Chancellor Dr H.K. Aggarwal congratulated the students, saying their achievement in a highly competitive national contest was a matter of pride for PGIMS, Rohtak. He said the performance reflected the students’ academic excellence, hard work and competitive spirit, while also appreciating the guidance provided by the Department of Biochemistry.
Registrar Dr Roop Singh said the achievement would inspire other students and assured that the university would continue encouraging participation in research and national-level competitions.
Dr Kiran Dahiya said seven teams qualified for the Mumbai final after an online screening round. Symbiosis Medical College, Pune, won the first position, while Baroda Medical College finished third.
Under the leadership of HoD, Dr Simmi Kharb, the students underwent intensive preparation. Dr Ashuma Sachdeva, Dr Deepika Dalal and other faculty members congratulated the winning team.
