Two nabbed with heroin, ice drug
Sleuths belonging to Punjab police have nabbed two drug smugglers and have recovered 1.572 kg heroin and 309 gram ICE drug from them.

Ferozepur, August 10, 2026: Sleuths belonging to Punjab police have nabbed two drug smugglers and have recovered 1.572 kg heroin and 309 gram ICE drug from them.
While divulging details, SSP Bhupinder Singh said that the police had received inputs that the accused identified as Suraj resident of Tibbi Kalan in Mamdot area and Johnson resident of Fattu Wala village in Kulgarhi area, had been involved in smuggling.
The SSP said that a trap had been laid near the grain market in cantonment area during which the accused had been nabbed. “During their frisking, 1.572 kg heroin and 309 gram ICE drug had been recovered from them”, said SSP adding both the accused have been booked under sections 21,61,85 of NDPS Act at Kulgarhi police station (FIR No. 153).
“The police is investigating the backward and forward links in this case and more arrests are expected”, said SSP.
